This is Diogie, He is standing on a pile of snow the road crew made from plowing the road. He is about 2 feet off the ground.














This is my front door decoration for Christmas, I will probably keep most of this up all winter for my winter decoration outside.

Trash picking...... yes I do that

I live not far from a SR. Center, I love to go there and see what is being thrown away. This week was a great week for me. When I first pulled in I saw the spindles on this chair. Not sure the chair was whole, I still knew I wanted the spindles. When I got close I saw this beautiful chair. I called the grounds keeper over that I know and asked him if this was really trash......... I hit pay dirt. The more I looked the more I saw. The trunk is also a part of that trash pile. You know I will be going back there again.

House next door

They were taking the house next door to me down and throwing away all the old rocks. Needless to say I lugged them home. wheelbarrow by wheelbarrow. I now have more then I need, but I am sure I will find a place for all of them.

Jim is at it again, I work at an Amish market and they were throwing away roofing, so I grabbed it out of the trash. My side door on the house didn't have an protection from the weather when you were walking in. So needless to say, you got a shower unlocking the door if it was raining.

Here is the proof I helped. I gave blood doing it, lol.

Hodge Podge Lodge

This is my dinning room. My aunt who owned the house before me painted the dinning room purple. right now I am leaving that way. In time I want to put hardwood floors in the living room and dinning room. I want to cover the chairs and paint the dinning room set white.





















































This is my living room, we had to take the old walls out and put up dry wall. Thank God Jim is so handy, he can do anything.I really love this bump out in my living room, we can eat there and watch TV at the same time.

Next he moved to the living room, got rid of dark paneling, YES!!!!!!!!! The old slates in the old wall were removed in spots to put in insulation, so I grab them. I wanted to make shutters out of them. I think they came out nice.

OK, we took a warm day off to go play with the dog, and he loved it.

Ok, back to work on the living room.

I am not done with the shutters, I want to add hearts and stain on the inside and paint the side facing outside the color of the trim. If anyone has a better idea, please let me know.

Room is looking brighter, not to sure of the color of the window trim, I may change that.
